The day.
- 9amDeparture from Corossol. Heading north-west, Saint-Martin on the horizon.
- 9:20amMooring in the bay on a nature-reserve buoy. Engines off. Silence.
- The morningSwimming from the stern platform, snorkelling along the rocks, turtles and rays, paddleboard, a nap on the sunpads. For those who want to walk, the ridge is a twenty-minute climb with a view over the whole bay.
- 12:30pmBack to Corossol on the half day. On a full day, lunch on board at anchor, and Colombier bay joins the itinerary.

questions.
- Can we go ashore?
- Yes, on foot, from the beach. The island is private and protected: leave nothing, take nothing.
- Is there snorkelling?
- One of the best spots around St Barts. The rocks on both sides of the bay shelter turtles, rays and shoals of fish. Masks and fins are on board.
- Is a half day enough?
- Yes. Île Fourchue is the ideal Half-Day destination: close, sheltered, no time wasted. A full day adds Colombier and lunch on board.
- What if the sea is rough?
- The bay is sheltered from the trade winds. If conditions aren't right, your captain suggests Colombier or the leeward coast. Decided on the morning itself.
- Can we anchor anywhere?
- No. Inside the reserve we tie up to the buoys provided, never on seagrass. That is what keeps the bay the way it is.
